Since we finally have cookie cutters (from the antiques co-op up the street, $1 for both!), K. dug into the New York Times Cookbook and made these pecan sandies. They’re delicious and confirm several of my suspicions: that this guy can follow a recipe, that cookies are an ideal breakfast, that secondhand shopping continues to enrich my life in many ways, and that these are truly the only two cookie cutters I will ever need. They’re perfect for almost every occasion. Right?
